I bought the Buffy Body Butter from Lush ages ago but I've only recently started using it. I'd heard so many people talking about Lush's body butters but I never realized that they were actually scrubs. When I figured it out I was super excited to try it out but it turns out that I wasn't all that impressed. For starters, it comes in a bar which is annoying, especially when it comes to storing it in the shower. I don't want it to stay wet so I keep it wrapped up in the paper on a shelf in my shower which looks ugly and is annoying to use. To use the body butter, I just rub the bar all over my body, and then scrub myself with my hands after. The bar is really soft to use and melts easily onto your skin. It gives quite a gentle exfoliation which I like. The body butter is quite moisturising and oily, kind of like rubbing a stick of butter on your skin, especially because it leaves a bit of a greasy film on my skin after using it. Once I'm out of the shower my skin doesn't feel dry, which I love. However, the thing that I can't get over about this product is the smell. When I'm applying it in the shower it smells nice, but once I am out of the shower the scent lingers. On me it transforms into a buttery smell, which I hate. It smells like cooking or grease and it's really gross. I don't know if anyone else gets this, and perhaps it would be different for a different scent but I won't be trying these out again. I prefer my scrubs in a tube or even a tub, as they make for less mess in the shower and are easier to access.

Seems like a difficult way to use a body scrub. It would definitely need some getting used to.

DeleteLooks interesting. Where can I but that?

I am a Graphic designer who has been live Bangladesh and used Essential Oil Soap for many years. It’s protecting our skin. Its quality is a very nice. But its price rate is very cheap. Not only is it perfectly suited for your own skin, it makes for a wonderful gift as well.
