Tarte Glamazon Lipstick in Wild

I'm going to blame Essiebutton for this one. Of course I fall in love with a red lipstick that is unavailable in Australia.

A few months ago, I had never been brave enough to wear red lipstick out of the house (aside for some garish makeup worn at my childhood dance concerts, which made me look like a baby hooker). Revlon Lip Butter in Cherry Tarte was my red lipstick gateway drug, and now I've moved up. Tarte Glamazon Lipstick in Wild is a gorgeous, classic, cool toned red. The kind of red that makes you look like you stepped out of an old Hollywood movie and makes your teeth look blindingly white. My favourite kind of red. The packaging is gorgeous and the formula applies like a dream. It's super pigmented and creamy, leaving the lips with a slight sheen. As far as wear time goes, it's the kind of red lipstick that I can wear and not look like a total mess after a few drinks, however it definitely needs touch ups throughout the night. I've never met a red lipstick that is 100% drink proof (if you know of one, hook me up) but this is worth the trouble.

The only drawback to this lipstick is that Tarte is not available in Australia. I bought mine in a Sephora order which was forwarded to me via Hop Shop Go. It costs $34USD.
