I've spoken before about this cleanser, when I reviewed the Murad Clarifying Cleanser. At that point, I had only used a small sample but it seemed very comparable to the Murad cleanser. They both contain salicylic acid, which is great for treating acne. Since then I bought the full size and I've been using it for the past few weeks. Turns out, that this cleanser is a bit different to the Murad one. I was using this every night for awhile before I realized that it was irritating my skin. It wasn't very bad, but this cleanser is too strong for me to use daily. I gave it a rest for a few days and ever since, I've been using it every second day without making my face sad. I really really really like that it is in a pump. It makes me very happy. This cleanser isn't particularly good at removing makeup but it makes my face feel really clean (which is what you want.... right?). I haven't had any breakouts on my face lately - although I don't put it down to this cleanser. I have been getting some acne on by back (SEXY huh?). So what I've been doing is using it on my back. I have this awesome loofah on a stick thing which I pump this onto and scrub scrub scrub (did I mention that I love the pump?). And it's doing a really good job at clearing up my sexy bacne. If you're looking for a good acne fighting cleanser at the supermarket then I definitely recommend this one. You can get this at Priceline & supermarkets for about $13.
